Our face to face, telephone and digital advice services will be operating a shut down period over Christmas. For further information about your local service, please see our Get Advice page.
Food Support
If you are in need of food support over the Christmas period, please use the Access to Food map. Christmas opening times can be found here. You can also download the Hope for Food’s Hot Food listings here.
Emergency Support
If you are facing a physical or mental health emergency, please call 111 or 999. You can also visit Access Wellbeing. You can call the Samaritans on 116 123, or Connections on 0800 6520190.

If you are facing domestic abuse and need urgent support or a place of safety, the organisation Refuge can be contacted on 0808 2000 247. There is also help on their website.
Other Citizens Advice services
During the holidays you can still access support from our National Adviceline, Help to Claim, Consumer Service and Debt telephone helplines. Opening times vary, but the services are usually closed at the weekend and on Bank Holidays. You can find out more here.
