Where we can call home

This project was launched in partnership with global education and learning centre Deed and is funded by the National Heritage Lottery. The aim is to improve connections, understanding and relations between established communities and newer communities by bringing people together to share local stories and experiences and find a common dialogue based on respect.

A team of Community Heritage Co-ordinators has been set up to gather stories from people who have come to live, work and study in the conurbation over the last 20 years from around the world.
