Tom Lund – Chief Officer

Tom joined Citizens Advice BCP in November 2019 with a strong commitment to social justice and equality. Having previously served as Head of Operations and Service Delivery, he stepped into the Chief Officer role in April 2024.

In this leadership position, Tom is responsible for guiding the strategic direction of the organisation in partnership with the Board of Trustees. He works to ensure Citizens Advice BCP remains responsive to the needs of its local communities, while also representing the organisation across regional and national forums. Tom plays a key role in securing the future of the service through business development, stakeholder engagement, and forging strong partnerships across the charitable, public, and private sectors.

Dan Stannard – Deputy Chief Officer

Dan joined Citizens Advice BCP in September 2018 and has been instrumental in shaping the organisation’s approach to people, systems, and service support.

Previously serving as Head of HR and Recruitment, Dan now holds the role of Deputy Chief Officer. He continues to lead on recruitment, staff training and development, HR policy implementation, and organisational culture. In his expanded role, Dan also provides oversight of the organisation’s financial operations, ensuring effective budget management and supporting long-term financial sustainability. Additionally, he oversees IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring the organisation’s tools and technologies remain robust, secure, and fit for purpose.

Jamie White – Operations Manager

Jamie joined Citizens Advice BCP in September 2018 as part of his placement year while studying Law at Bournemouth University. Since then, he has taken on a range of roles within the organisation, including Outreach Adviser, Supervisor, and Deputy Operations Manager.

Now serving as our Operations Manager, Jamie leads the operational delivery teams, ensuring that our services meet key performance targets and align with funder requirements and our organisational goals. He also plays a vital role in identifying new funding opportunities, fostering partnerships within the community, and supporting the organisation’s governance and strategic development.

Kirsty Pemberton – Development & Campaigns Manager 

Kirsty brings over 15 years of project management experience in the private sector to her current role as Development and Campaigns Manager at Citizens Advice BCP. Since transitioning to the charity sector in 2019, she has led a wide range of projects across many key advice areas, building strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole. 

Her strategic mindset, honed in the private sector, is complemented by a deep commitment to social justice. Kirsty is particularly passionate about access to immigration advice and casework, and is dedicated to improving services for underrepresented communities across the South West.
