Our Members
Our members are an important asset to our charity, and we welcome new members to join us.
Citizens Advice Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole is a charitable company ultimately controlled by its members. Members elect trustees, who are also directors, to sit on a committee that regularly meets to manage the charity, and who report back to members at least once a year at the AGM.
Members:
- Help to shape our work and the way our services are delivered within the local community
- Through their commitment as members, they help improve policies and practices that affect the lives of people across the BCP conurbation
- Are kept in touch with news and developments
- Can be elected to serve as a trustee on the committee
- Can vote at general meetings of the charity
- Can call the committee to account if unhappy with any of its decisions
Membership is free and open to individuals and organisations that support our objects. If you’d like to become a member, please email our Chief Executive Officer Zoe Bradley for more information and an application pack: zoe.bradley@citizensadvicebcp.org.uk .
